Priva has led the way in the development of greenhouse heaters/CO2 generators for the horticultural industry. Low energy consumption has always been the main factor in developing this technology. Priva heaters are 99% efficient and have earned the reputation as the most reliable heater that money can buy. Priva heaters/CO2 generators are manufactured and tested using strict procedures and standards. Before leaving the factory, infrared testing equipment checks each one for optimum combustion. The burner is equipped with a digital circuit board, which enables the convenience of advanced operation to be applied to burner systems. The heater automatically restarts if a minor fault message occurs, such as a gas or voltage dip. The electronic ignition and the combustion process are controlled and monitored automatically. CO2 enrichment provides real benefits. When the inside concentration drops, CO2 generators bring the level back to normal outside conditions. Increasing the concentration is a closed greenhouse speeds production and improves quality. The concentration of CO2 in the air has a strong influence on the growth and production of plants. During favourable growing conditions, increasing CO2 by 2 or 3 times the normal level accelerates growth and increases production.Outside air contains about 320 ppm of CO2. Even in a ventilated greenhouse, inside concentration can drop well below this level. Plants use much of the available supply and ventilation cannot replace the CO2 fast enough. This slows growth rates. In greenhouses, CO2 is produced from the combustion of natural gas or propane. Priva manufactures a wide range of CO2 generators. Priva has designed a completely new energy efficient fan for horizontal air circulation, called the Priva ECO fan. The main features of the new ECO fan are a universal synthetic body with increased durability and a 30% reduction in energy consumption. Significant changes to the motor and fan blade accommodate a large air capacity and a high and directional air velocity. With the new ECO fan, the temperature and relative humidity can be easily controlled for improved energy efficiency and more uniform crop production. Throws of 40 to 50 meters for better leveling of temperature and humidity. This results in easier control, higher production and more uniformity. Energy consumption is lower than that of basket fans as you need less than half the number of the ECO fans compared to basket fans. The ECO Fan has a synthetic body which cannot corrode and is light and easy to install. The noise level of the fans is very low, especially with a speed controller which allows for a lower speed level and decreased sound. |

Depending on the demand for horizontal airflow, the FanMaster gives the option to select a higher or lower speed for the greenhouse fans. In situations with no ventilation, strong winds or when spraying chemicals, you may select the highest fan speed to achieve a uniform greenhouse climate and a lot a air movement. In situations with active exhaust fans, no wind or open top vents, you can use a lower fan speed and save money on electricity. All Priva fans are designed especially for horticultural applications and have proved their worth in practice. In the design of the system, functional efficiency was the central consideration. However, the systems are not only extremely efficient but also highly corrosion-resistant and therefore able to do their job year after year in horticultural greenhouses. | PRIVA HYGROFAN HUMIDIFIERS | |

The Hygrofan Rotator combines three functions in one system, movement of air; the original function of the Priva greenhouse fan, and increasing the relative humidity. The combination of working fan and rotating disc atomizes the water. Cooling is achieved when heat is extracted from the ambient air by evaporation of the water vapour. The Hygrofan Rotator misting unit atomizes the water under pressure (1 to 6 bar) via a rapidly rotating disc. The Hygrofan Rotator sprays water onto the back of the rotating disc so that the water is flung to the outside of the disc. The water collides with a circle of pins and a fine water vapour is produced. The Hygrofan Rotator is less sensitive to water pollution so that the water quality does not have to meet such high standards. The Hygrofan Rotator creates a water vapour with a droplet size ranging from 10 to 25 microns, depending on the set water capacity. The evaporation rate is determined by the relationship between the RH and droplet size. The latter also determines the efficiency (i.e. capacity) of the Hygrofan Rotator. As misting takes place at a pressure between I and 6 bar, which more or less corresponds to normal mains pressure, the Hygrofan Rotator is easy to install with simple installation materials, connections and controller. The controller can be activated by a hygrostat or an existing environmental computer. |

| PRIVA ASSIST | |

PrivAssist is particularly suitable for the processing of operating and production data. Using the figures made available, production and operational data for each location can be processed and analyzed immediately. This not only enables you to discover how variations in production can be remedied, but also provides an insight into operational progress. The data are recorded at the workplace on mobile terminals, which are networked together to the central PC. The main benefit of PrivAssist lies in the fact that performance can be measured. Once the employee has entered data, he/she can immediately be provided with feedback, e.g. with the number of kilograms harvested per hour. This also allows casual workers to be paid on a performance related basis where required. No two growing areas are the same, there may even be production differences between two rows, not only in quantity but also in quality. PrivAssist will highlight these variations. Production is recorded for each individual location. Differences of less then 10%, which are barely noticeable to the naked eye, will become apparent. PrivAssist provides a direct link between your control computer and the workplace. At any point in time, the progress of the work in the greenhouse can be monitored and modified as necessary. Local-Assist is a software program installed on the central PC within the PrivAssist system. Among other things, Local-Assist allows you to input and modify the basic data relating to personnel and operating equipment. Any data entered at the workplace can be checked, modified and processed. Various summaries can be requested and graphs displayed on the screen. The program runs in a Windows environment, making it part of an up to date system. The software can be extended with Notes-Assist, which allows observations made in the greenhouse to be entered directly from the terminals. Pest and diseases, or even greenhouse problems, such as broken glass or blocked spray nozzles, can be transmitted directly to the central system in the office. These functions are password protected so that only the manager or full-time employees may have permissions to access them. |
